Cows in Cambridge

Addenbrookes this morning for Mr A, then into Cambridge for lunch and coffee at the University Centre, followed by a walk along the tow path beside the River Cam walking North I think, until we reached the road. Then we walked back stopping to chat to an artist and a young Cambridge student who had just finished his exams; then more coffee and cake before coming home. A good day except that the cows were loose beside the river.

When we started our walk the cows were all lying down, except one which it seems had got itself into the subway under the road. It would have made a good blip, but it had moved on before we got there. When we walked back the cows were on the move. Mr A saw one cow lick the feet of one of the sunbathers, although neither of us got a picture of it; then he wonders why I do not like to be near cows!
