A Ramblers walk from The Roaches and I drove John this time, he only lives two minutes away. I only signed up for the walk yesterday, after we'd decided that Sunday Climbing, also at The Roaches, would move to Monday because the forecast was better.

I prefer not to walk along/under/very near to any of the Peak District crags, as I always wish that I were climbing instead of walking, but today I needed a walk.

It was a good one, with rather too much ascent for my liking lol, but I survived, the company was good and here they are getting ready after lunch to do the last six miles. Oh, I forgot to mention that we got rained on several times, once very heavily!
