Falls at Corrieshalloch Gorge

This morning we visited the new visitor centre at the Corrieshalloch Gorge National Nature Reserve. Here we walked through the woods to the spectacular Falls of Measach, which we observed from above on the rather wobbly suspension bridge. My blip is of one of the burns that flows into the River Droma.

We returned to the cottage for lunch, I read for a little while Mr hazelh investigated his ancestors, then we walked down to the beach for a wander along the shoreline. The water in the bay is very calm at the moment, and we are pretty sure that certain blippers would have jumped straight in for a swim, had they been with us.

This evening's entertainment will include dinner, a game or two, and more reading (for me at least).

Exercise today: walking (9,590 steps).
