New work and Buddha!

I was taking some shots of my 'new' glazed pieces outside on one of Terry's benches, the light was good! I set each one of them down on the ledge outside the studio, after photographing them and before i took them back in, i liked the way they sat beside this old buddha and heart stone (found by Morgan on the beach here!)

You can view a couple of close ups of these pieces on my blipfolio!

Finished up some work in the studio, and now we're heading up to the Cape Breton Centre for Craft and Design for a FUNdraising event! should be a blast!

So here's the other thing! I started exploring these 'new' glazes over a year ago.....and i'm finding a bit of a rhythm to the way I'm applying them and getting results i'm very happy with! At what point do i need to find another way to describe these glazes, other than.....'the new glazes i'm working on!'......any ideas?

It's Friday, which actually means nothing around here, cos the seamlessness of life here knows no difference!

Just to clarify....the seamlessness really means that there is often work of some sort to be done around here!

A quick note about the evening fundraiser we attended, it was a very fun and crazy night, and i came home with 2 beautiful necklaces!
