Not Stumped For A Blip Today

I was out early (ish) for my walk today…just before 08:00. The sun shining on this old tree stump caught my eye, I liked the patterns and textures and the fact that a living tree and trunk form the backdrop.

Anyway, when I got back we headed off to the supermarket to stock up on burgers, sausages and other BBQ snacks and drinks …as we had our daughter and family coming for lunch.

The weather was a little dull and cool, but at least we were spared rain…so the grandchildren and granddogs had a great time playing in the garden. The cooked lunch went down well.

They have gone home now so we can relax a bit….maybe some chilled beers left in the fridge for me. :-)
