We set off for home this morning, stopping at Morton Hall Garden Centre for lunch and Biggar for an afternoon cuppa.

Our next stop was Johnstonebridge Services for another cuppa, this time from the flask. We weren't in a hurry so we wandered down to Allendale Water and it was there I spotted the little grebe.

It's such a long time since I've seen one, it was a long way away and I had to crop heavily but I still wanted the shot.
