More nostalgia

Out to Orange again today for isbi’s cataract checkup - it’s going well!
The specialist rooms are on what was the Bloomfield Straight, part of the Gnoo Blas racing circuit closed in 1961 and which, for me, is a major childhood memory recorded in my blip last December.
Even though I’m not into car racing, I can never resist the temptation to do yet another lap - today’s blip is at the southern end of the back straight just past the pits (now a soccer field). I wonder what Mrs M thought of Ferraris and Manx Nortons racing past her front gate?!!?
The extra is in the Millthorpe Museum which we visited on the way home - until I saw AMK49’s blip this morning, I’d never heard of a Massey-Harris tractor but here’s the 1945 model in the museum.
One more port of call, afternoon tea and blipmeet with 59 (isbi’s sister) in Bathurst, before getting home too late to feed the horses - they’ll be a bit cranky in the morning!
