I bought myself a French Senior Railcard this evening. I was pleased and relieved I was able to do it now that I'm a citizen of a Terra Non Grata. The last time I bought one, over four years ago when I was still a European citizen, I had to take two copies of my ID photo to Gare de Lyon in Paris for them to check that it looked like me and to endorse it and I had to have a loyalty card to link my tickets to. It was much easier this evening, though I spent ages trying to link the railcard to my loyalty card only, eventually, to discover that SNCF has given up on loyalty.

I have now been stuck on this island for longer than at any time in 57 years and I am really excited that I'll be escaping soon.
