A damp sort of day

..so a damp sort of blip - of an autumnal willow leaf floating down the river.

I've felt rather low on energy today, after all the hillside scrambling yesterday, so haven't gone far.  Just this, a quick trip into town and a walk with Hazel, which we had to hurry rather to get back in time for the grocery delivery.  Then a bit of tidying and a bit of reading - very peaceful!

Thanks for all your kind comments about WildFlowerWeek.  I'm so glad it's been enjoyed.  I certainly have loved seeing all the wildflowers you've found and very much hope we can continue it next year.  And once again, many thanks to ApolloFly for her hosting stint in July.
