Down at the pond

Today I went out early afternoon to the reserve.  I spent a fair bit of time down by the pond.  It was cleared of many of its reeds last winter and therefore has been very attractive to dragonflies this summer, particularly common darters like this one above.  And yes, I was trying out another new lens - oops!!  Nice quality, isn't it..

Not a lot else to report.  My joints are a bit painful right now which is boring, so I'm trying to go gently.
