Outside again

One of the ladies in the new hiking group messaged me yesterday evening about the group hike thinking it was today but it is actually next Saturday. She is new to the area, has only been with the group a couple of months and is fairly new to this area so is going to carpool with me.

We had never met before but after some conversation we decided to hike today. So this morning we met up to drive to the Palmetto Trail and walked almost 6 miles. It was our second cool morning so I was glad to be out.

Interesting fact.. my new friend is originally from South Africa. She has also lived in British Columbia, Canada. Her son settled here in Lexington so she moved here to be close to him and the grandkids.


We both had a great morning!
