Pflanzenschutzmittel

Went home to the farm today, because this season's first round of plant protection agents had to be applied to the hop plants. After the many days of rain and due to the current warm temperatures, the pressure from fungal infections is very high. The main problem right now is downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora humuli), which our hop varieties are quite prone to.

The blip, however, shows our second foal of the season. It's a colt (as the first one) and was born two weeks ago. This little guy is rather special, as he was the very first ever foal on our farm, which was born during daytime and on the meadow. Like his two weeks older "brother", he is a trotter.
