A beautiful summer’s day in September!

We started with a visit to our friend J to wish him a Happy Birthday and take him a card, and some bottles of Timothy Taylor’s beer. Also a bunch of red gladioli which were always his favourite when his wife was a,ive.
Why is it people don’t usually buy flowers for men?

This afternoon our youngest granddaughter Jennie called to see us and introduced us to E.
They certainly make a lovely couple.
Such a lot of catching up to do since she came back from the USA.
Mr C and E had a lot to talk about as E is a rugby union player.

Then later on youngest son called and ended up staying for a BBQ.

What a lovely Sunday.
Not taken any photos until I was taking the seat covers and cushions in.
