Speculaas

Now that the letter R has returned in the name of the current and upcoming months, it’s tradition to start eating speculaas again.

Normally September 1st is the exact date I have my first speculaas, but this year it’s been delayed until today, September 4th.
But today, that marks the official start of the working season after the summer holidays is very suitable as well.
Thanks Richard, for bringing this treat to work today!
