Twinkling

Getting back to what counts as normality after a few days that have been intensely busy in one way or another! (Back Blips to follow.)

Unseasonably hot and sunny (27deg here), so two loads of washing dried on the line in no time. Busy in the morning sorting out after our few days away. A trip to the hardware store in Honley, and then to a garden centre with MrM after lunch, in search of large garden containers. No luck, but I did buy a very handy tool for weeding. Later in the day some admin. followed by some much-needed gardening.

No more news on the sale of the flat. Fingers crossed that it will complete on Friday, but I'm not holding my breath!

Late evening and no photos, so took a view from the front door step as the sun was setting. The lights of Huddersfield started twinkling in the distance - so different from the 'dark skies' of Northumberland.
