No county fair for us

I recently discovered that there's a rare ride called a Skydiver operated by a fair company that is scheduled to be at some fairs near us. I've never seen one and want to experience it.

I looked up the hours of a fair where it's scheduled to be, and we decided to visit the Belmont County, Ohio, Fair on Labor Day. The website listed the fair as open today and did not have a closing time. A news article said the fair started the day before and that rides would be open.

We drove 2 1/2 hours only to discover that not only do the rides not operated on Monday, the fair wasn't even open. The website says nothing about that!

We drove to Pittsburgh and had dinner at a riverside restaurant we like. I also took a picture of part of a steel plant's blast furnace nearby (extra).
