Stuck (temporarily)

Dash through the railings..
to chase pigeon or magpie,
without exit plan.

Tricky day. Lots of Ben anxiety and so much heat! I was melting. I didn’t want to take Leo out until nearly 7pm but that meant ben’s bedtime process was later etc. Just when I thought I was so done with all the children and dogs under my (supposed) control that it couldn’t get any worse.. Leo sneaked through some railIngs, covered in Holly, to chase some spurious something. He then realised (in a whimpery way) that he was stuck and covered in Holly that was sharp. Sigh. I thought I might have to scale the fence but eventually he squeezed himself back through. There’s always something!
