Canal D'Armour

Our last day with the car so we drove to Canal D"Armour near Sidari. As always it was really busy but we still enjoyed walking around seeing all the interesting rock formations. On the way back we stopped at the large bakery for lunch. As we sat overlooking the view to the other side of the island we could see lightning and thunder in the distance. The staff began to prepare for rain by bringing all the plastic sides down and it began just before we left. Luckily we were only about 10 minutes away as the rain was torrential and at times we couldn't actually see out the windscreen. Even running into the apartment we got soaked to the skin but once inside we watched the rain with a cup of tea to warm us up!
We dropped the car off before going to Athina for our evening meal.
