New Dawn

It became very dry and brown the last hot spell we had so had to cut a lot of it back but it's picked up now and although the blooms are not exactly large they are still pretty.

Today we managed a walk before the sun broke through the morning mist, plus called at Morrisons for bread, the rest of the day was too hot to do anything much. I did some washing, made use of the sun/solar panels. Otherwise just stayed indoors quite a lot where it was cooler. Not sure what the outside temperature was but it was pretty hot.
The man on the tele said old people should keep as cool as possible and keep well hydrated, so I did.

Booked our Covid 19 and Flu vaccinations today for the 30th September, hope the Covid 19 covers all the Covid variations that are about at the moment.

Cat to the vet tomorrow - Thursday  - so she won't be going out until we get back or you can bet she will go AWAL if we do.
