Lunch stop

The long and winding road home -- we set off from Bordes de Graus a bit before ten, and got home a bit before six. 369 km, but not an easy route. We did make several stops ... a fruitless trip to the bookshop in Alins (it was closed as M was out walking), the obligatory stop at the Port de Bonaigua (a rare treat -- the bar was open for once, so we had a coffee). An equally essential stop in Bòssost, carefully timed for lunchtime so we could eat tapas in Urtau (the bar on the right of this blip). It was very busy and the tapas display was looking a bit scanty, but it was constantly replenished. And then the essential shopping in the venta on the border -- we had nearly run out of olive oil, but lots of other items found their way into the trolley. Including the jamón we have just eaten with pan con tomate.

Home to a delighted cat -- big cuddles were had, and then I gave him a whole can of tuna, as he claimed to be starving. The gossipmongers on the bench outside said M was charming and could come back any time. So all is well! We do enjoy being at Bordes de Graus with A and G, but it's good to get back to home comforts too!
