A TRUE VIXEN: Female Red Fox


With 2 pups to raise,
We watched this young mother in constant motion:

First, she'd confirm that her kits were,
Safe and secure in the den.
Then she'd dash off for a hunt.

But, she didn't stay away too long,
Successul or not,
Mom would return to check on,
The now sleeping little ones.
Then off to hunt again.

Whooooo.
Certainly has her 'paws full'
