Messing about on the river

My daughter, Jen, had a day off today and went for a paddleboarding lesson with her friend, Zoe, at Runnymede. It was a very hot day, particularly for September. It was just the two of them with the instructor and they only fell in a couple of times!  One of the extra photos shows them doing well negotiating both the paddleboards and what was, in truth, a very tranquil river.  It helps that at Runnymede, the Thames is no longer tidal! The main picture is a restful and uncluttered view of the river save for a duck, which features in close-up in the other extra photo.
