Critter in the cloakroom

I had a much less interesting blip of a recently sold house as todays blip until our visitors this evening drew our attention to this marvellous specimen residing in the cloakroom.

I can never remember whether it’s a cricket or a grasshopper. I think it’s the latter with its long antennae. I might well be wrong.

An early walk in the cool of the morning. Not so cool for those school run caught in the gridlock trying to get out of the estate onto the main road.

Plenty to do today, preparing for tonight’s visitors, changing an inner tube, sorting the garden, administrative tasks, quotes for car insurance to name but a few. The renewal quote for Susan’s car had increased 119% from last year. What’s all that about. More research required.
