Viola

This tiny little treasure just appeared in the top of one of my chimney pot planters.
I didn’t go far in the garden either yesterday or today. I am finding the heat very trying, and it is certainly too hot to work outside. I moved from our usual tv room because it is on the hot side of the house and have settled myself in the “posh” room which is much cooler. ( sometimes called “the lounge”, sometimes “the living room”, maybe the “sitting room” , never “the drawing room”!)
I baked a gingerbread this morning ready for Mahjong here next week. I am hoping it is more successful than my recent attempts at baking.
