Acts of deliberate notice

It's still oppressively hot here at the moment. I went for a morning walk seeking to avoid the heat of the day and I haven't really cooled down since then.

We have been getting a lot of box moths flying into the flat at night recently. Despite being invasive, they're such beautiful creatures. As I was coming back from my walk I must have passed a box bush because suddenly I was surrounded by a whole cloud of fluttering white wings. It felt magical. Of the bush itself, not much was left but twigs.
