'Melbourne City before Sunrise'

A big thanks to everyone for the great response to yesterdays early morning shot. I'm finding it difficult to respond to everyone personally at the moment, so this is a group thanks. I do read every comment and appreciate the time it takes from everyones busy schedules.

A really fantastic day today, just what I needed.

I was up really early again today, but headed into town instead of my usual haunt. Took a few shots down at the Docklands and then headed back to Princes Bridge where this was taken looking down along the Yarra River towards Southbank and the Casino district, then headed home via the hot bread shop to pick up some croissants and scones for breakfast.

This afternoon was spent in the beautiful sunshine filling up all of the screw holes in the new roof fascias in preparation for the mammoth painting task ahead. Got the whole roof filled just before dark so very happy with the afternoons work.

Also got some great shots of roos just outside the back of the house lazing in the sun this arvo and Mrs RW spotted a pair of very rare red headed cockatoos in a tree in the front yard which again I had to grab the camera and photograph.

Looking forward to another day off tomorrow for the Queens birthday.

This looks much better LARGE
