We've been watching the pigeon nest carefully, this eggshell appeared about 3 days ago, and the parent pigeon seemed to be sitting higher in the nest...

Today I saw the 'squab' for the first time (that fluffy stuff above the eggshell), though it's not a good photo.

We've not seen the parent pigeon move off the nest even once, though I've read that the parents take turns.  It must be very hot work at the moment.
