Arriving at our campground

We had a leisurely start to the day as we were picking up Jen from the local airport late morning, flying in from Atlanta. We stopped at Menards on the way, to buy a new doormat for the camper. Having picked her up, we stopped for something to eat, before beginning our drive up to Bayfield Wisconsin, our base for the next six days while exploring the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior, about a four hour drive. Laura was following us later in her own car, when she finished work. We stopped in Ashfield before reaching Bayfield to get some groceries, as I had read they had a better choice of grocery stores. I loved this Welcome sign, made up from old doors at the entrance to the campground.
