Pukeko …..

….. ….. ….. in the Lake Hayes wetlands.
There were many fowl in the wetlands this morning when my nephew & Missy & I walked around the lake. It’s so encouraging seeing how many have returned. There was one little family, with 8 tiny ducklings!

It’s been lovely having A. staying - all too brief though!
We’ve talked nonstop! And enjoyed our time together. He’s flown back to Wellington late this afternoon.
