Mono Monday: Beside

On each floor of my building there are windows in-between each of the floors. These are the ones leading up to the first floor, where I live.  The two lower windows beside each other have been opened to let in some fresh (actually hot) air! Through the slits we can just see the gardens and allotments that are in the grassy expanse alongside the building.

The windows above, also beside each other, do not open. I like the texture of the glass.
