The Rare Bruce

It is very, very difficult to get a photograph of Bruce.

Read in David Attenborough voice:

"And here we are in deepest Achaderry, one of the largest areas of temperate rain forest anywhere in Lochaber. Here you see one of our camera crew attempting to capture a beast seldom ever caught on film (blip), Canis familiaris na chocolate. In this close encounter Bruce, as he has become affectionately known to the crew, remained in the shadows and doggedly avoided eye contact with the lens, and moments later bounded off in to the woodland depths. It is a frustrating near encounter for our camera person following many minutes of painstaking preparation.
In the background can be seen his much more forth coming yellow friend, Caley na Buidhe, swimming after his favourite ball. He plays gleefully in the June sunshine, jumping and splashing completely at home with the camera crew. He can be photographed at any time of night and day and such footage is plentiful by comparison.. Mrs Cakes philosophically accepts nature has won on this occasion and will move on to a relatively easy assignment next; perhaps on location with an Amur Tiger, Polar Bear.or even a Victoria Sandwich"
