If you can't beat them...

Rabbit ( Oryctolagus cuniculus )

A day mainly taken up with jobs round home.  I cleaned the car roof box, (fitting the roof rack to it as well) in case we need it for going down to Solace on Friday.  In the afternoon we had a walk down to the church to harvest some apples off the three trees planted in the churchyard.

While looking for blips I managed to get within a reasonable range of this rabbit.  It has long been suggested the Normans were the first to introduce rabbits, a native of France and Spain.  They were kept in warrens for food and fur.  Recently rabbit remains have been found in Fishbourne Roman Palace, Carbon dating has shown the rabbit to have been alive in the first century AD.
