The long journey home!

It was a good job we decided to spend the night in Wausau, as we got a call from Laura this morning as we were beginning to pack up, to say she had discovered our kayak paddles in her garage - we had forgotten them yesterday when we picked our kayaks up! She passes the campground on her way to work, so Roger went to the entrance so she could hand them over! Soon after that, we were on our way. It was an overcast morning, the extreme heat of the last several days having broken, and we did run into some rain about an hour into our journey, but after that it remained dry and gradually cleared up. Though as you can see from my boring blip taken early evening, the threat of rain wasn’t far away.
