Landscape

I know I've blipped this scene before but I can never cease to admire the beauty of it.  The River Severn gently curves through the centre of Worcester with the landmark buildings of the Worcester Cathedral and Glover's Needle standing proud.  A classical landscape!

Thanks to StevenG for hosting today's Wide Wednesday.

In other news:  We went to the Green Man in Middleton to meet Liz and Genny for lunch.  We had a nice meal and chat.

A heron appears to have taken up residence on the canal, along with the pair of swans who patrol the water.  He/She walks slowly along the towpath dipping its beak into the canal every now and then and coming up with a fish.  I've put a pic in the extras.
