Bearded Tit

It appears that Summer has returned!  A hot and sunny day here in Essex, so an early wander was called for again and today I went to the local nature reserve and had a lovely time. Chatted to a few other birders over there and the birds kept us entertained - marsh harrier, great white egret, squillions of geese, herons, swans, dragonflies, butterflies and always lovely to see a bearded tit or two!

Tried to catch up on a bit of gardening this afternoon but too hot so have been watching live streaming from the Lake District instead - lots of military aviation flying through today.
