Lac Sec

we walked up above the lake at Lac des Bouillouses to a number of natural smaller lakes below Pic Carlit.  We were surprised to see snow still on the higher peaks (see extra). There was a helicopter flying around which we late heard was a Czech one on army manoeuvres. We cut our walk short, partly because the initial ascent was quite rocky and I wanted plenty of time to get back down again but also as there was a storm coming in. Luckily we were back down having coffee in the bar well before the area had some torrential rain.
