Red Admiral on Sedum

It is a rather wet day, very much changed from last week.  We did our food shopping early in the morning, which proved to be a good time as the shops were very quiet.  

Met Maeve for lunch, and she gave me some home made blackcurrant jelly.......then we went to see Pat and spent an hour with her.  We saw the photos of the wedding of her granddaughter at Comrie Croft and heard the stories.  It seems the meal at the reception was a Vegan one with no choice, and Pat and Ron did not enjoy it at all.  But they did enjoy the wedding.  The groom, a German, was resplendent in a kilt.  He is now a hospital doctor  in Inverness and seems to be embracing our culture.  Good luck to him.
