Purple stars

A slow start today after a late night and the weather offered no encouragement to stir my bones either. It has stayed overcast until this evening and now there is sunshine and bright blue sky, just in time for the weekend to be over. It has been a day of getting little jobs done slowly, including a bit of tidying up in the garden. The alliums are definitely still the stars of the show out there at the moment so here they are again for the third time in ten days.
