Seasonal ugly bug

It has been most autumnal, misty all day with occasional drops of rain. A few days ago, the forecast for today had been for a dry sunny day but sadly it was not to be. In keeping with the season, the Craneflies have been emerging from the ground, much to the delight of the local birdlife.  They're ugly little critters, and don't really get better on a closer view.  At least this one is sitting on an attractive background :-)
