Darter

There were a few of these Common Darter about and I finally managed a long -range shot of this one as it settled on bracken.

Comma, Red Admiral and Speckled Wood butterflies were enjoying the blackberries, and Silver-Y moths were nectaring on Devil’s-bit Scabious.
