Ahhhhh.....spring

Kowhai - at last....some natural sustenance for my wee back-yard birds.  They've been getting quite busy amongst the new kowahi blooms, though they still enjoy the sugar water and bananas.  Am I making them into lazy birds by still feeding them?  Am I still feeding them just so I can see them each day?   Is it time to clear away the feeding station for another year?  I do think I need to cut the 2023 apron strings now that the kowhai is here.

Did a little gardening today but was very surprised at how puffed I got doing what amounted to next to nothing.  I think the cold still has a grip on me despite feeling a whole heap better.
