Hurricane ready!

Soups and chilli prepared (can be heated outdoors on our camping stove, should we lose electricity) lanterns and candles at the ready, and chocolate.....well, why not?
Hurricane Lee is predicted to reach land around 2pm today, right on the southwestern tip of Nova Scotia, where we live. Non stop torrential rain since 10pm last night, howling gale force winds....but no power outages here as yet, despite many other areas of Nova Scotia having lost theirs. If we do lose ours, we have enough food to last 72 hours at least, and a log burner for heat, should the temperature drop. Oh....and chocolate! A hurricane essential. All is well!
