The calm after the storm.

After over 24 hours of gale force winds, torrential rain and huge waves and storm surges, we awoke to sunshine and relative calm. Hurricane Lee took a slight veer to the left and missed making landfall in Yarmouth. Travelled up the Bay of Fundy, weakening in strength as it went. Think it finally hit land around Digby, where trees are down and some coastal flooding. We feel very lucky! Best of all, we never lost power! Amazing considering the 90km per hour winds. Hope that's the one and only for this season.
