Thunder Rumbling

Rain forecast but not sure when because the prediction kept changing. Thunder rumbled away making it seem more likely and then I felt a few spots. Although at first I couldn't hear any birds, I did eventually find one or two about, including this downy woodpecker drilling away high in the willow tree. It was pretty gloomy and I didn't feel inclined to hang about.
