Pink Is The Word

The pink edging of the wings relates to the pink of the joe-pye weed whilst the butterfly's yellow-greens echo those of the out of focus plants in shade behind it. In other photographs I might well have toned down those bright spots thinking them distracting, but here I think they're useful.

I wish for a touch more depth of field, or perhaps better focus on the butterfly, but working handheld with a moving subject compromises have to be accepted.

Another first for me.
