Day Trip

We had an outing today to High Ashurst outdoor pursuit centre. There was a fabulously well equipped log cabin that we could use with wheelchair accessible facilities and hoists.
Rafi was very tired and so didn't really get the most out of the day, but it was a beautiful sunny day and it was nice for us all to be in a different environment for the day.Nina made fire from two bits of metal and cotton wool, and Grandma had a go too. We toasted marshmallows by the campfire and Rafi had a taste ( though he was rather frustrated I only let him eat the gooey bit as he wanted the hard bit!!!) He also ate a whole packet of Skips! The picture shows him on a massive see-saw with his dad trying to get it to balance.
We left early as he needed his bed, and he 'flipped' big time on the way back, poor Rafi says 'I just want to go home, is that too much to ask?' He still doesn't understand that there is anything wrong with him. The doctor we spoke to thinks he may still be suffering from post traumatic amnesia.
