Playing the Recorder

A long time since I have played a recorder! We are going through various bookshelves and today I was sorting things of my daughters to take her…which included this book. At her house I found the 2 recorders she used as a child and her children are just starting to use. Reassuringly I could still play one and actually play a tune OK. I still have a memory of playing ‘The First Nowell’ as a Solo in a Christmas Concert when I was nine .

Another busy day…our friends left around mid day and then I had a flu jab. Then sorted the house out plus washing etc.

Then picked up grandchildren from school and gave them tea.

Much cooler today with some heavy showers. Needed socks and shoes all day!
