Badger!

My field partner and I were leaving Green Creek, on the east side of the Sierra Nevada range, when we spotted two badgers crossing the road in front of us. We pulled over, hoping to catch a glimpse of them scurrying away through the underbrush. Much to our surprise the pair seemed very unconcerned with our presence, casually alternating between foraging and roughhousing for a few minutes before settling into a shaded nook under this boulder. I took advantage of the moment to take a pictures before leaving them to their business.
