Lots of rain during the morning :-(

It did finally ease off around lunchtime ... the sun even poked it's head out briefly .... before it rained again!

We were in two minds as to whether to risk a walk or not ...... we decided to be brave & go!

It had stopped when we left though there were a few dark clouds looming.

We had a short wander ..... liked this little stream & also found a small pond where we saw a Coot (Extra) .... first we've seen for ages :-)

We then decided we had been brave enough & headed off for some retail therapy!

Hubby found a lovely top & I found a couple of tops, a jacket & two pairs of trainers! Not a bad haul ... all we need to do is find room for them!

Not a bad day despite the iffy weather :-)
