Michaelmas

A dark, damp and very windy day. The Michaelmas daisies have had to be staked to keep them up. Michaelmas was always my favourite university term, full of promise and new beginnings. Today however, little was achieved other than making a blackberry sponge and having my flu and coronavirus vaccinations.
